I have an employee who is off on long term sick and I have no idea when they might return. Is there anything I can do?
Yes, this is a ‘capability’ case i.e. your employee is not capable of fulfilling their contract due to their absence. We would therefore recommend managing this though a capability procedure that we would guide you through. This would result in either the employee returning to work or their employment being terminated (depending on the circumstances).
